We are looking for a driven DevOps Engineer to join our client's team and contribute to building robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure. This is an unpaid role until the client secures their next round of funding, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a high-growth environment from the ground up. Key Responsibilities : Collaborate with the development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability. Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments. Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across all systems. Maintain and improve cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Document processes and contribute to the improvement of development workflows. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or related areas are a plus. Experience : 0-2 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or a related field. Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform. Basic understanding of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Skills : Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Knowledge of version control systems like Git. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning. Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring system security and reliability. Salary Range : This is an unpaid role until our client's next round of fundraising. Upon successful fundraising, compensation will be aligned with market standards for junior-level DevOps engineers in the US.
