Villanova University Director or Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance Location: Villanova, Pennsylvania Support the Associate Athletics Director in the day-to-day oversight of the Athletics Compliance Office. This position will be integrally involved in the Men's or Women's Basketball program and will be the primary liaison for at least three other sports. Must perform all duties within University, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Responsibilities: Assist in the oversight of compliance operations for Men's or Women's Basketball. Process all NCAA waivers and violations. Work with Director of Compliance/Financial Aid to issue National Letter of Intent and Grant-in-Aid scholarship letters. Conduct initial eligibility evaluations on all recruited prospective student-athletes to ensure adherence to NCAA standards. Oversee all aspects of recruiting, including monitoring and approving visits and camps. Prepare and administer a comprehensive NCAA rules education program for athletics staff, student-athletes, and alumni. Provide NCAA and Big East rules interpretations for coaches and staff. Review and approve all activities involving student-athletes and promotional activities. Assist in Name, Image, Likeness activities including rules education and monitoring. Serve as the primary contact for at least three additional sports. Oversee the onboarding process for coaches and staff. Serve as the Athletics Compliance Office liaison to assigned campus units. Perform other duties as assigned by VP/Director of Athletics or Associate AD for Compliance. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required. 3+ years for Director and 5+ years for Assistant AD of experience in sports administration, specifically in compliance. Working knowledge of NCAA rules and collegiate basketball landscape. Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, LSDBi, ARMS, Teamworks. Flexibility to travel extensively and work nights and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Sport Administration or related field or Law Degree. Commensurate with experience.
