Group Sales Manager Needed in Ventura
Industry: Hotels. Hospitality
Pay Range: $75,000 - $80,000 yearly (Negotiable)
Experience with various verticals including Corporate Group Sales preferred.

Summary
As a hotel Group Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales and revenue growth for the hotel. You are responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct Sales:
· Targets results-oriented high revenue potential sales calls to ensure a successful direct sales program, in accordance with goals established by department budget and marketing plan.
New Account Development:
· Captures competitor's accounts through networking, research and reader board surveys in order to target and solicit those most probable to generate new business.
Yield Management:
· Utilizes yield management techniques by profitably negotiating room rates and function space commitments in order to enhance the hotel's financial performance.
Product Knowledge:
Conducts research, surveys, personal investigation and studies marketplace and territory in order to effectively capitalize on the hotel's strengths and competitor's weaknesses and capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Requirements:
· Must have a minimum of 2 years hotel group sales experience, preferably in Corporate Market Segment.
· Bachelor's degree preferred, will consider applicable experience.
· Hotel Industry background and experience required.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Computer Applications: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc. required.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to move around the hotel, indoor/outdoor.
