Job Title: Fabrication Specialist
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire fabrication process, including the creation of docks and lifts, as well as custom parts for schools, wellness centers, and other public buildings. You will need to follow blueprints to layout and execute custom designs accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints for layout and fabrication.
• Fabricate steel beams, columns, stairs, and railings.
• Perform certified welding tasks.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail while maintaining production quotas.
• Possess extensive knowledge of metal and steel.
• Maintain production standards and quantities.
• Preferred knowledge of AISC standards.
• Weld steel and aluminum components.
• Operate typical industry equipment such as iron workers, plasma cutters, torches, welding equipment, forklifts, and hand tools.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in blueprint reading.
• Experience in layout and fabrication.
• Certified welding experience.
• Extensive knowledge of metal and steel.
• Ability to maintain production standards and quotas.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of AISC standards preferred.
• Experience with typical industry equipment such as iron workers, plasma cutters, torches, welding equipment, forklifts, and hand tools.
• Comfortable working in a shop environment.

Work Environment

This position operates in a typical shop environment. The standard work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Overtime hours are from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PINE CITY, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
