Job Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring the needs of the internal customers are met by staging materials at production lines to increase production efficiencies and reduce machine downtime. The Material Handler will deliver materials for processing on the production line, receive finished product from production and stage product for Shipping. This position works Monday-Thursday; 1:45pm-11:45pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Move stock or materials to ensure continuous production of the machines.
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
• Move incoming materials to proper storage location.
• Receive finished product from production and assist with staging for shipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves. Verify quantity and labels for accuracy.
• Attach identifying labels or tags to materials for inventory, shipment and work in production.
• Notify Inventory Control Specialist when stock is running low.
• Follow company process and procedure for Overs.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Conduct Physical/Cycle Counts as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two (2) years previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and forklift.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents.
• Basic mathematic skills for inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand production demands and the effects the department has on upstream work centers.
• Strong communication skills - clearly convey information and collaborates effectively with others and cross-functionally with other departments.
• Ability to work over-time and/or weekends as needed.
