Title: Quality Engineer / Materials Process Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA

Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)

Shift: 1st

Job Summary:

Seeking an engineering professional with strong knowledge of aerospace specifications , materials and processes , and supplier compliance . Must have experience with NADCAP , ISO9001 , and aerospace-grade quality standards .

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update approved process supplier database ; ensure valid NADCAP , ISO9001 certifications.
• Manage supplier audit tracking using Excel ; ensure accuracy and timely updates.
• Interface with suppliers to address accreditation and compliance issues .
• Support project timelines , progress tracking , and status reporting to management.
• Review and flow down technical specifications and engineering requirements to vendors.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve supplier technical issues and quality nonconformances .
• Utilize engineering principles , documentation standards , and analysis tools .
• Maintain project documentation , engineering records , and compliance files .

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of aerospace materials and processes
• Familiarity with industry standards : NADCAP, ISO9001, AS9100
• Proficient in Excel and project tracking tools
• Experience with supplier quality , process audits , and compliance
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
