The QA Testing Lead at Keurig Dr Pepper is responsible for overseeing and leading software testing efforts to ensure product quality and reliability. This role involves collaborating with functional and development teams to create comprehensive test strategies, execute various testing processes, and implement improvements based on testing outcomes. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in software testing, proficiency in SDLC methodologies, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

What we are looking for:

Keurig Dr Pepper is looking for an experienced QA Testing Lead to join the team. The selected candidate will assist and lead testing efforts, ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. This role includes supporting and leading test strategies and overseeing the execution of test processes and plans.

 

As a Test Lead, you will…

  • Assist functional teams with the creation of comprehensive test strategies.
  • Work towards quality assurance objectives and processes, monitoring and evaluating testing results against the predetermined objectives, and applying recommended actions for improvements on a single initiative or small components of multiple initiatives.
  • Work closely with development teams to enable design testing strategies and integrate testing into the development process.
  • Support testing (e.g., regression, functional, data validation, system integration, load, or performance tests) for new and existing functionality.
  • Collaborate with testing teams to create effective test scenarios and cases that cover all functionalities and requirements
  • Assist to define test environments and test data management processes
  • Document and analyze test results and recommend corrective action
  • Research, recommend, and learn to implement new testing technologies and practices, such as incorporating machine learning.
  • Assist with the assessment of the effectiveness of the testing process and implement improvements.
  • Support DevOps capabilities using continuous integration/continuous delivery toolsets and automation.
  • Assist the program manager provide guidance, support, and training to test team members.

Who you are:

  • Proficiency in system development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including but not limited to waterfall, spiral, SAFE, agile, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize, and DevOps.
  • Demonstrated expertise in various types of testing, such as functional, performance, and other non-functional tests.
  • Possess expertise in coding practices, concepts, and design patterns to develop maintainable test frameworks.
  • Comprehensive expertise in testing frameworks, tools, and test automation frameworks.
  • Proven capability in leading teams to consistently and incrementally deliver high-quality applications.
  • Capability to report on the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics as outlined in the testing strategy.
  • Capable of creating, generating, and maintaining test data and databases.
  • Proficient in innovative problem-solving and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaborating with individuals at all levels within the organization.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Typically, 5 plus years of experience in software testing and lead role within testing team.
  • Technical Proficiency with testing tools (e.g., ALM, Selenium, JIRA, Tosca) programming knowledge (e.g., Java, Python, C#), and experience with test automation frameworks.
  • Native-level proficiency/fluent in English.
  • Experience working in DevOps and Agile technology environments. (preferred)
