Our client, a fast-growing stealth startup, is developing cutting-edge wearable technology that merges robotics, AR, and data systems to revolutionize human-machine interaction. They are seeking a Senior Meta Quest AR Engineer to lead the design, development, and scaling of their AR-driven teleoperation system. This is an early-stage opportunity to shape an innovative product at the ground level.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design and development of AR applications for Meta Quest using Unity and Kotlin.
• Integrate with low-level sensor streams in C++ and JNI.
• Create delightful, intuitive 3D experiences to drive user engagement and behavior, collaborating closely with the AI team.

What You’ll Bring:

• 3+ years of Unity/3D experience in AR game development and 3D UI design (ECS preferred).
• Strong understanding of spatial math, including rigid transforms, 3D rotation, and camera projection.
• Experience building production-grade Android apps using Java, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Gradle.
• Expertise in debugging Android NDK libraries (JNI, C/C++, CMake).
• Nice to have: Unity Firebase SDK experience and back-end API development.

Qualifications:

• Must be available to work in-person in Mountain View, CA
• Proven track record of end-to-end Unity/3D development, demonstrated through work experience or internships, OR non-educational projects with 20K+ lines of code and 200+ users.
