Job Description

Pacific International is retained on a search with a high-growth power solutions and analytics company that serve communications, data centres and commercial facilities globally. They have ambitious growth goals and are continuously challenging the marketplace.

They are looking for a Vice President Operations to manage end-to-end supply chain and operations for the Americas region. They need someone who can adapt to change, create a strategy / vision from within ambiguity and empower the leadership team. Although this is a strategic role, it is important to know the dynamics of the manufacturing and be visible to employees across all of the sites.

Key Functions

  • Overall responsibility for the management of Leadership and Performance, Operational Excellence, Projects, and Financial.
  • Establish departmental goals for all areas of responsibility that build up and support the manufacturing plan and track the progress; develop programs to meet these goals and coach staff accordingly to achieve the objectives.
  • Change agent to evaluate and lead operational improvement initiatives including defining and implement core processes so business can accelerate growth and maximizes efficiencies
  • Achieve operations results according to the company's overall business and strategic plans (Sales, EBITDA and Cash Flow targets) along with established KPI’s. Drives innovative and integrated operations initiatives in partnership with the business president and other members of the senior management team.
  • Work with Executive team to develop and execute the strategic plan for the region and maximize growth and profitability of business.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering with preference of a Master's or MBA
  • 15+ years of manufacturing leadership experience including proven strategic acumen, change management and process improvement
  • Has operated in complex manufacturing, and ideally engineer to order
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and utilization of lean manufacturing techniques
