What You’ll Do:

As a Compensation Analyst you will:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and management of base pay, long- and short-term incentives, and other compensation programs.
  • Evaluate jobs and develop standardized job descriptions, career pathing, and pay structures.
  • Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable salary structures.
  • Provide data-driven insights for benchmarking, pay equity, and trends analysis.
  • Develop and communicate compensation budgets and provide guidance on pay decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and stay updated on compensation-related regulations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align compensation strategies with business goals.

What We’re Looking For:

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing compensation programs, designing salary structures, and implementing incentive plans.
  • Strong understanding of US federal, state, and local compensation laws (Canadian expertise preferred).
  • Advanced skills in job evaluation, market analysis, and job description development.
  • Experience with compensation programs, survey data, and job architecture.
  • Proven ability to interact with senior leadership and advise on strategic decisions.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar designation.

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong judgment, professionalism, and adaptability to meet business needs.
