This is a remote position. Candidates must be located in Southern California.

For over 89 years, we have worked to create trusting relationships with our fire family. The bonds we build are the foundation of our credit union. As the largest, exclusive firefighter credit union in the nation with over $2.0B in assets, we serve over 64,000 members in more than 1,000 fire departments.

Currently, we have an immediate opening for a Trust Relationship Officer to join our team. The Trust Relationship Officer is responsible for developing, managing, and servicing trust and fiduciary account relationships on behalf of Firefighters First Federal Credit Union. This role encompasses the full scope of duties performed by a trust officer, including relationship management, business development, and fiduciary account administration.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Managing trust and fiduciary account relationships, including account administration and member relationship management.
• Providing estate planning consultations and educational seminars; addressing member questions on trust and fiduciary services.
• Assisting with the investment management of client accounts in coordination with fiduciary objectives.
• Administering trust and probate estates, serve as corporate trustee, and meeting with beneficiaries to ensure effective service delivery.
• Reviewing and interpreting fiduciary documents to support accurate and compliant account management.
• Developing and present wealth management education to credit union members and internal teams.
• Leading marketing, business development, and sales efforts to promote trust services and grow assets under management.

Basic Qualifications:

• Education: Juris Doctorate
• Experience in one or more of the following: trust officer, finance, banking, sales, customer service, and/or account management
• Minimum three years of experience with estate planning or trust officer.
